NF-010
Every sound on the EP started as vibration in a wire. A contact microphone clipped to a catenary support picks up the whole network: trams three streets away, wind, rain, the hum of the substation.
Ida tuned those recordings to the drum machine’s kick and played them back as a fifth instrument.
